Macdonald Bros And Ben To Play At Ladies Day Final
THE Macdonald Brothers will headline a concert at Ayr Racecourse as part of the Ladies Day Final celebrations at the track on Friday September 21 when they will be joined on stage by great mate and fellow X Factor finalist Ben Mills.
Racegoers will not only be able to enjoy the glam and glitz of Ladies Day when one lucky lady will drive off in a brand new car but they will also be entertained after racing by the boys from Alloway and rocker Ben.
As soon as racing ends that day the Macs and Ben will take to the stage and perform - and the great news is that it costs no extra to see the boys.
Racecourse Marketing Manager Lindsey Smith said : "Ladies Day at Ayr as everyone knows is very, very special but this year's will be the best ever. We backed the Macdonald Brothers during the X Factor and told them we would have them back to perform.
"We are delighted that they'll be here with Ben on Ladies Day and we won't increase ticket prices. Instead of our normal after racing band in the PR Suite we will have the boys and Ben onstage."
This year's Ladies Day prizes will include a top of the range car from the Ingram Motoring Group, an exotic holiday courtesy of Stewart Travel and diamond jewellery from Oghams of Ayr and Edinburgh.Details of all the major prizes will be announced next week.
Ayr the two Ladies Nights on May 10 and August 11 in addition to the Ladies Day Final when 28 ladies who have been awarded a Silver Coin will each draw a number corresponding to that of a horse in the totesport Ayr Silver Cup held that day. The lady who holds the number of the winning horse will win the car, the runner up the holiday and third the fabulous jewellery.
